Sunday...

We arrived at the ferry around 8:30 in the morning and got in line.

We would not board for a few more hours so we walked around and watched the other ferry pull out.

The boats had been delayed and we weren't able to board at 11:30 as expected. We went back to the motor home and Scott read to us a little bit.

Instead we wouldn't leave until 4:00 so we walked the 30 minutes to Port aux Basques, stopping at Tim Horton's, Canadian Tire, a gas station, and a souvenir shop.

When we got back from out little trip to town, Jeff broke out the ice cream and we had Coke floats. Yum!

While we all got out some regular snacks, Jeff got out some Newfoundland steak. Don't let the name deceive you because it is just a bunch of baloney/bologna :) They say the baloney/bologna from Newfoundland is better than here in the states and Jeff loves it so he got some to take back with us. We were reading the ingredients to see just WHAT is in it. I don't suggest reading the ingredients on baloney/bologna packages... Not too long after our snack, Justin turned on a Hank the Cowdog story. Looking over at the device, Jeff muttered, "mechanically separated dog stories"... In other words, he wasn't too impressed with the story...
Soon we pulled onto the ferry, parked the motor home, and went up to the top deck; our favorite place to sit. We ended up falling asleep before the ship even started moving...

The sun was setting as we pulled into the dock at North Sydney, Nova Scotia.

It was a pretty tight squeeze back to the motor home.

After leaving the ferry, we drove about one block to a nearby park where we made dinner. It was SOOO good!

Once we had finished dinner, we engaged in what Jeff calls extreme RV-ing. They took 2 hour shifts all through the night....
