Chili Cook-Off 2012!

This year the theme for the chili cook-off was story-book characters.
 Beau as King Arthur. He won third place for the kids.
 William as Tom Sawyer. He won second place for the kids.
 Tyce as Cat in the Hat. He won first for the kids.
 Corbin and Parker as Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn.
 Susie as Nancy Drew.
 Julie as Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. She got first for adults.
 Jean as Ms. Frizzle. She won Second for adults.
 Payton as Hermione. 
 Daniel as Paul Bunyan. He won third for adults.
 Derek as Waldo.
 Abby and Cashion as Pippi Longstocking and Mr. Nelson.
 Alice in Wonderland crew...
 April and Anthony as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
Stanley, Kindra, Bryce, and Riley as Sesamy Street. They won second in groups.

 Our group as Snow White and characters. We won first in groups. 

Cameron was Prince Charming, Haley was Snow White, Walter was the huntsman, Madeline was the evil Queen, and I was the evil witch. We also had seven little boys for the Dwarfs: Koby Carroll, Max Neil, Collier King, Brock Easley, Carter Bishop, Sammy Holland, and Paxton Easley.
 Steve and Kay as Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert and Kristen as Anne Shirlie. They won third in groups.

We ended the night with a few snacks inside... This year's Chili cook-off was so much fun and can't wait till next year! I this was the 16th annual chili cook-off!

Next up: Missouri trip and Thanksgiving November 16-25!

  2. That was such a fun chili cook-off!! Everyone did a really great job with costumes, and the games were hilarious. The only bummer was that we didn't get to dress up as Raggedy Ann and Andy. :( Oh well, maybe it will work for another year. Thanks for the post!

  3. That was a really fun time. I thought the Snow White Crew was pretty cute... ;)
    BUT there were SO many really great costumes this year!! Looking forward to next year!
